III. OpenAI releases Point-E, an AI that generates 3D models
OpenAI has released Point-E, an AI system that can generate 3D models from text prompts in one to two minutes. Point-E consists of two models, a text-to-image model and an image-to-3D model, and is trained on a dataset of several million 3D objects. Point-E could be used to fabricate real-world objects, and could potentially disrupt the 3D model industry. However, there are potential issues with intellectual property and bias that need to be addressed.
II. The 9 Best AI Video Generators (Text-to-Video)
AI-powered text-to-video tools make it easy to create professional-looking videos from text without any prior knowledge of video editing software. The tools leverage natural language processing and machine learning algorithms to generate high-quality videos from text in multiple languages. With these tools, users can create videos for business or personal use with just a few clicks.
SinFusion is an AI model that uses a single input image or video to generate realistic images and videos. It is built on top of the Denoising diffusion probabilistic model (DDPM) architecture and uses modifications to an existing DDPM structure to reduce the cost of fine-tuning. It can be used for image generation, image editing, image generation from a sketch, visual summaries for images, video upsampling, video extrapolation, and generating new videos from a single video.

II. The AI in Business Podcast - Connecting Work to Meaning - with Dr. Scott Nowson of PwC
Guest Scott Nowson, Artificial Intelligence Leader at PwC Middle East has a Ph.D. in natural language processing, and worked for many years prior to PwC as a consultant for legacy enterprises looking to get started in AI. This episode explores Scott’s technical expertise for what makes successful AI adoption teams best work together.
An overview of how to turn software engineers into machine learning engineers, how AutoML platforms are automating tasks, how to deploy ML models to the cloud, what to know about self-driving cars, and why 80% of AI and ML projects fail.

I. Josh and his friend David built Feather AI, an audio-to-text summarizer, for Ben’s Bites Hackathon. Like most ‘founders’ Josh was looking to solve his own problem; writing show notes for his podcast. The team built a model that summarized the podcast conversations and is the foundation for the first draft of show notes. Post hackathon, the two continue to test to find their product-market fit.
